Single Family Residence | Napa, CA

This guest cottage was designed as a simple and welcoming retreat, balancing efficiency with warmth and light. The 1,000-square-foot structure combines prefabricated components with on-site construction, allowing for a streamlined process while maintaining a crafted, personal feel.

Clad in natural wood and topped with a single-sloped roof, the exterior presents a quiet, modern expression that blends easily into its surroundings. Inside, wood ceilings create a sense of warmth and continuity, while large openings and generous glazing invite daylight to fill the spaces and connect the interior to the outdoors.

The design focuses on clarity and comfort, offering a modest footprint with an open and airy character. Project completed at Nick Noyes Architecture
